About

Kassim Baudry
Sculptor, live performer street artist.
Lives & works in Paris
My artistic practice is born from a questioning about the accessibility of art for the blind.
We live in an era of image saturation where beings and things are increasingly kept at distance by sensory borders made up of screens.
In this regard, valuing the tactile allows the viewer to break out of their passivity, encouraging them to consider what lies beyond the visible, the surface.
At the crossroads of contemporary art and urban art, my work explores the fields of touch, sensory language, and underground culture.
It presents itself as a meta commentary on the world of art, fashion and the codes of representation.
